Quick Update

Ordered two 400GB hard drives because 500GB ones are waay too expensive at the moment... both plans are pretty much out the window, might make a new image to show what I'm gonna do but right now I can't be bothered :P

Oh and things are sucking less... So yeah.

Will post a big post about being home and christmas and stuff soon... Leave comments, ja ne~!

Kaoru Memes

Hey everyone,

Didn't particularly want my blog here to get full of quizes, memes, and junk, and basically end up looking ling an LJ or Xanga page (no offence to LJ/Xanga users... y'know, all my friends XD;;;) so I decided I'd make a separate blogger blog especially for them! It's called Kaoru Memes and can be found from the link on the right, from the link on my home page/portal thing ^_^

Also random update to this page, I added a Friends' Blogs thing at the side as well, so go check out their blogs if you feel like it ^^;

Anime Soc Dinner

Anime Soc Peoples

So yeah, yesterday was the Anime Society end of term dinner, went to a japanese restaurant called Ryo (same name as our society president o.O;) and basically took up all their space for a bit... We had about 20 people and it was a pretty small restaurant ^^; I had some fried chicken stuff with rice and soup, it was pretty good although the fried chicken was a little plain. Was a really fun time though, we'd booked the whole top floor of the restaurant and we were all walking around and chatting and stuff... Although to be honest I didn't do much walking around, Izumi was sitting next to me, so much huggling~ ^___^; She's so amazing~ Izumi if/when you read this - You're amazing~ ^__^ <3

Aaanyway, after the dinner we hung around outside for a bit (where we took that dazzling photo you see there) and then we split off into two groups, those going home (including Izumi and Nick :cry: Wanted more huggles and to play House of the Dead 3 with Nick again) and those going off to the Trocadero. Many more huggles and goodbyes later, and lending Izumi The Wedding Singer because it's great and she's never seen it, I headed off to the Trocadero to find everyone who had already left...

K-Li and Dustin DDR'ing

I played a bunch of DDR with Dustin and K-Li, and we actually got a lot of people playing too, even JP and Florencia gave it a go and JP now wants a dance mat for his computer XD;; Also I was very impressed with K-Li, she's improved a lot since last time I played against her and once she has a working dance mat at home she'll probably surpass me in about a month ^^;;; Not much more to say about that... Played DDR for ages and then figured it was time to go home.

Happy Birthday K-Li~

Adam, Charlie, Smithers, Me, Izumi, Nick, & Holly

It was k-li's birthday on Friday, and we all went out for a massive chinese meal in China Town yesterday, it was so great ^__^ Met up with everyone at Picadilly Circus tube station and stood around chatting, the highlight of which (for me at least) was obviously finally seeing Izumi-chan again~ (She's the one with her arms around me in the photo ^__^) In fact, I have to say (no offence to K-Li and her birthday) that seeing Izumi was definitely the highlight of the whole day ^____^; But anyway trying to say what happened during the day...

Once most people were there, and we were five minutes late for the restaurant already, we decided to go find our way there ^_^;; We ate at the Golden Dragon in China Town and it was soo good, we were split into two tables and our table ordered a whole duck with pancakes between us, it was yummy ^__^ Also I was sat next to Izumi, so much poking and huggling during the meal XD especially for her as she had Nick on her other side... She's such a lucky girl ^_~ lol... On my other side I had holly, one of K-Li's friends from home, who seemed very nice although I didn't talk to her much ^^; Eating time was filled with much talking, hugging, poking, chopstick fights, rice spoon fights, and randomness - It was basically just a really great time. Once we were finished eating we had them bring out a chocolate cake for K-Li, and Liyang had also made a delicious carrot cake for the occasion... Was soo full but managed to eat a slice of each ^^;; Both were delicious!

After the meal and cakes we split up, a bunch of people went to the Trocadero for arcading and then to K-Li's, whereas Nick, Izumi and I decided to head off to the Japan Centre as I'd never been and Izumi had said she would show me where it is sometime ^_^ Had fun in there, although it was muchly crowded and the albums tempting me were far too expensive ^__^; And with that I was off home, after many goodbye huggles from Izumi~ I got so many huggles, it was great ^__________^
