Best. Birthday. Ever.
This has been one of the best birthdays, if not days, of my entire life! First off last night (18th November 2005 00:00 onwards) talking to people on MSN, particularly anime soc people, Izumi (who is an anime soc person, but has earned a special mention ^^), and Sara :) Then wandered off to bed...... And was woken up at 7:30 by my Dad calling, which was a nice surprise :) Unfortunately my phone ran out of batteries but I was able to txt him and things were good... A few minutes later got a call from my mum to the house line, and then a txt from my brother wishing me a happy birthday :) Finally leave my room and see Matt and Nathalie, Nathalie explained that she and Sibley weren't feeling too well so were gonna skip the first few lectures... Stood talking to Nathalie and Matt for a while (almost too long, but made it to the train in time) and just as I was leaving Nathalie gave me my birthday card from her and Sibey. The card was a very funny computer geeky one that made me smile, but what made me smile all day was the little letter Nathalie had put into the card, she is so sweet! If you're reading this Nathalie, thank you again for the wonderful letter, you are an incredible friend! :D
Anyway, so... First couple of lectures were pretty dull, but I was still feeling pretty good about my birthday, boosted by Ben remembering to say happy birthday :) Sibley showed up in C++ at 12, not much else really happened, had some lunch, went to get some money out for the weekend (ATM stole my card for no reason so waiting for a replacement -_-) and yeah, that's it. At 2 had labs, got a bunch of C coding done and again chatting with Izumi and Sara, both of them making my birthday very special :) Then at 4:30 Vlad txt and I went out of the labs to see her quickly and ended up talking to her for half an hour :) Hadn't seen or spoken to Vlad in aages so that was really really nice :) On the way back into the labs I chatted with Selina (who also remembered my birthday!) and Will for a bit, which was also good... Basically everything about this day was good!... And then went back to my computer, did some more C, and then reluctantly said goodbye to Izumi and Sara. Had to run to pick up Dave from Paddington, and so the real adventure began...
Train to Paddington was soo crowded! OMG I hate Paddington, it's nasty, and if I hated it Dave must've hated it even more, he's not a big fan of London :P (for those who don't know Dave is my friend from school, who's now doing Maths at Reading) and then we had to go to Victoria, meet Gary (technically an "online friend", though it's been like 6 years now and I've stopped counting how many times we've met up :P), and go to the Coach Station to find James (another friend from home, tortured artist but a really great guy), and then make our way back to Streatham Common, which took a while because the ticket queues at Victoria were mad, I'm so glad I have my Oyster Card!
So, after the long adventure we finally got back home... Hung out playing Goldeneye/Smash Bros while people decided what Chinese food to order (I didn't need to choose, I always order the same thing, I'm so boring :P) and then the food was there and we ate, mmm :) Just as I was beginning to get full of duck with pancakes Matt and Andy hit the lights and brought in a chocolate swiss roll with candles in it!! It was such a nice surprise, I really really wasn't expecting it so I must've been grinning so much :) After the food we put on The Girl Next Door which despite it's random pornography references and relatively obscure cast is actually kinda sweet and funny :) It's a big memory movie for me anyway because we rented it while I was in America over summer :)
And now the end of the day, said goodnight to everyone and came up to my room, very happy and expecting to get much happier, and I wasn't disappointed... :) Izumi-chan drew this amazing drawing for me today, it's so wonderful don't you think? Izumi I know you're reading this - You are so awesome, getting to know you over the past couple of weeks has been incredible and talking to you and being given this drawing are two of the most important reasons for this birthday being the best I have ever had *hugs close* Thank you so much <3
Also, although I already mentioned them, huuuge hugs and many many thanks to Sara and Nathalie, you have both also been huge parts of making today special :) <3 You are my best friends in the world and I love you both~
And of course finally thanks to Dave, James and Gary for making the journey here, it was great to see you and I hope you had a good night :) I'll have to make my way down to Reading to see you and Sar soon Dave, but I'll see you and James again at Christmas anyway! :)
Thank you to everyone out there who made this birthday one I will remember and treasure forever! *hugs to all my house mates, my anime soc friends, my computing friends (inc vlad), my pre-uni friends, my online friends, anyone who wished me a happy birthday, and izumi-chan (although she's included in most of the above categories already)*

Autumn and Anime~
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't blogged here in a while, been mostly updating things on my deviantART journal because the stuff I've been up to has been dA related. Taking lots of photos lately, mostly arty/pretty ones for dA but some good ones of my new anime soc friends can also be found on my flickr ^^ Shameless linking of all my stuff... Speaking of which ksn is pretty much just a portal to my stuff now. Might do my complete redesign and recode of the site over Christmas, depends how busy I am ^^;Aaanyway what's new with me? Well been hanging out a lot (too much? my poor degree XD) with the anime society ^^ Between showings, after-showing-random-events, after-showing-planned-events, the forums, and big msn group chats, they keep me pretty busy! That ugly mug to the right is JP, who's birthday it was on Monday, so Happy Birthday JP!
Eeee anime soc people are so fun ^____^ Particularly one~ *hugs* She made an equally obscure reference to me on her blog XD;; Been talking to her every night this past week and it's been so great ^^ Anata wa sugoi desu!! XD ^____^ Speaking of (or in :P) Japanese, been learning that a little bit again lately, JP gave me some Japanese listen&repeat .ogg files, they've been going pretty well I think ^^; Guess I'll get back to hiragana at some point, but for now learning some vocab and phrases is good for me I think ^^
Well, that's it for now, I'll try to update more often in future!
Leave comments and such as always, it's nice to know people are reading ^^;
Ja Ne!~

The Three Kings
The Three Kings is my house mate Matt's band, and I must say they rock! Matt is an awesome bassist, always great to hear him practicing with some RHCP or classic rock stuff :)
Anyway he's given me his CD and said "put this out on the interweb for me!", and so I will, and here it is:
- The Three Kings - Come and Find Me.ogg
- The Three Kings - Fire.ogg
- The Three Kings - I Can't Get Next To You Babe.ogg
- The Three Kings - Johnny B Goode.ogg
- The Three Kings - Purple Haze.ogg
- The Three Kings - Slow Jam.ogg
Enjoy! :D
