Finally I post...
Yes yes I know, I got very very bad at the whole posting in the blog thing... I did, as I think I mentioned to a bunch of you if not all of you in a blog comment around here somewhere, write half a blog entry and then not post it because I thought I would eventually finish writing it. That thought has now died, I know for sure I'll never finish it, so here it is in it's wonderful unfinished form:
One goes a-wandering through the streets of ameriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiica
First off, thanks to Sara for the excellent title of today's post because I just couldn't for the life of me think of one... Well I could, but just using "Brooke" would've been unfair to Cody/Nora/Audrey/etc who I've also hung out with more than usual since I last posted so... :P
So yeah, Brooke and Audrey (Christine and Dana's step-sisters) came to stay for a few days, which was totally great because Christine and Brooke as a pair are just unbelievable :) And also because Brooke being here means Christine and Cory get more time together and I still have someone to hang out with, which is good because Christine and Cory haven't had enough alone time for a while now.
So here we go again, trying to remember what things happened on what days... Wish me luck :)
Tuesday
Brooke and Audrey came back from Disney World and Brooke was all set to come stay at Christine's house, then on the drive back from Brooke's house Audrey phoned and said she wanted to come to stay too. *sigh* Why am I the kind of guy that 11-14 year old girls just think they can torture and annoy for hours on end? Or do they just do it to all guys? Anyway we all hung out at Christine's house, and then we went to go get Cory and the four of us hung out at Christine's house again. That night we finally swam in Christine's pool, something we've done surprisingly little despite the heat, and we played with the water-skimming-frisbee-thing, it was great :)
Wednesday
Yep, Wednesday, that's where I finished writing. Kinda forgot what actually happened on Wednesday see, the days all blurred, it was all good fun though I'm sure of that :) I had a great time in America and I would like to give shout outs to everyone I met over there... *deep breath* Shout outs tooooooo~
Christine, Cory, Brooke, Dana, Audrey, Peter, Cody, Nora, Adam, Christy, Jorge, Agnes, Quinn, Nick, Caddy, Zack, David, Yanny (sp?), Bambi, The Ferrets, Elvis the Cat (Kitty), Elvis the Dog (Cory's Dog), Misty, Neko, China, however you spell Brooke's other cat's name, uhh... The parents of everyone... Random people all over the place... All the Steak 'n Shake people I met... Sorry if I've left you off, let me know!
This blog is now gonna be for random things I think of suddenly which are too random to be put onto the real slackwise.net blog because they make no sense :) (by way of example this would probably belong here rather than there :))
Later everyone!~

Cory's random friends
First off, before I get onto the topic at hand, happy birthday to my mum, Dave, and Aveleen... Sure it's two days late and when I emailed them it was 1 day late, but that wasn't my fault, I was at Christine's dad's house with no 'net connection and no long distance calls - And nah I'm not really gonna blog about those couple of days because nothing really happened, Christine's feeling ill because of some throat virus and I watched the American version of The Ring, which is really not as good as the original Japanese version, sorry but the name Samara Morgan just doesn't fill me with dread :P
Aaanyway onto the topic *points at the top of this post* - Last night we went over to Cory's house and I met his friends Eric and Zach (Zack? I dunno :/) and after much being bored at Cory's house we went off to some park that's name begins with an M I think, anyway, we played some frisbee and then wandered over and got some mountain dew and watched some softball being played - from what I can tell softball is like rounders only they wear these stupid gloves 'cos they can't catch ;) - which was pretty cool. Then Eric was called by his girlfriend (who may be called Katie, Kady, Cady, KD, or a combination of the above :/) and he went off to pick her up from somewhere because she'd been in Wisconsin or some place for the weekend and Zack, Cory, Christine and I went off to get some pizza from Little Caesar's... We wanted a Peperoni and a Plain Cheese but unfortunately they only had saussage ones left and they weren't making anymore for a while or something, ah well, the saussage ones were pretty good :)
We ate the pizza back at the park and hung out with everyone, including Eric, Cadie, and this guy called Russo who may also be called Mike or sonmething, and who nobody seems to like or something. It was all very confusing :P Anyway Eric went off with Russo to go see this girl Justine, who I don't know, but apparently everyone hates too, and she used to go out with Cory or something... There was a lot of drama about Kadee being angry at Eric for ditching her, but personally it was a pretty good night 'cos I just hung out with Zack and Kadie (Christine and Cory disappeared 'for some reason' :P) hearing stories about various people. Zack and Caydie are really cool and hopefully I'll see them again sometime :)
In the end we went back to Christine's house and watched the end of Road Trip on TV and then Zack and Kaydee had to leave. I ended up going to bed pretty soon after that, just sent some emails and stuff and then read a bit more of Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? and went to sleep.
Anyway, quick thanks to Jason, Christine, Carmen and Sara for commenting on the blog after wading through my last huge post! :) Anyone who reads this one please leave a comment even if it just says 'hey', it's good to know people are reading :)

Writings from America
Hey, sorry I haven't blogged from America until now, it's been a busy and very fun few days :) So, let's just see if I can remember them... :P
Tuesday
Got up at 6ish, said bye to Carmen, and then John drove Christine, Gary and I to Heathrow. Our flight wasn't until 12:40 but we'd heard that after the bombings in London that Heathrow security was tight and decided that we should leave as early as possible to make sure we didn't miss our flight and such. Said bye to John at the airport car park and then Christine, Gary and I talked and relaxed at the airport for a few hours. At about 11:30 we said bye to Gary and went to get on the plane which the displays said was boarding at 11:55.
Once we were on the plane we chatted a bit, but we were both pretty tired and Christine actually missed the take off because she was asleep - "Hey look we're in the air" - lol. The movies on the flight were Guess Who and Fever Pitch, which are both cute romantic comedies I would consider buying on dvd if I found them for $10 (damn no pound symbol on this silly american keyboard :P). Also on the plane I listened to my CD player, read a bit of my book Taking The Red Pill, and started a new game on Pokemon Leaf Green (jp) with a character called かをり, which I hope is how to spell Kaori in Japanese (my last game on Leaf Green I realised after 40 hours that my character was called Kaoro not Kaoru, damnit る and ろ look similar!)
Anyway, once we got to O'Hare airport in Chicago we were met by Chrisitne's mum (mom? :P) and her boyfriend Cory and we drove back to Christine's house, dumped my stuff, then went off to pick up Brooke (Christine's best friend/step sister) and Cody (Christine's ex who she's still friends with and who I've talked to on msn), and then we went off and has Chinese food at Classic China before going to an arcade called Nickel City (on the way to which Cody picked up his girlfriend Nora). Nickel City was loads of fun although I still suck at DDR... Must buy mat for StepMania and get good!
After Nickel City we (except Nora) went to Cody's house and hung out, I had my first taste of Bawls which is really damn good! After that we just hung out watching stuff on Cody's computer and chatting, it was really good :) Then Christine and I dropped Cory home and then met Brooke and Cory back at Chrisitne's house, where we hung out chatting some more in Christine's room. Cory left at around 3 and Brooke, Christine and I carried on chatting until 5:30 or so before I went to bed for a few hours sleep.
Oh yeah, also at some point we went to Steak 'n' Shake where Chrisitne works so she could see her friends, but we didn't eat anything there and I don't really remember between what things we did it :P Brooke and Cory were there though so I guess it was on the way to get Cody, and Brooke french braided my hair, lol :P
Wednesday
On Wednesday the basic plan was to go to White Castle, since as I've probably mentioned in previous blog entries, I've seen Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle about 5 times since I got back to Devon and John showed me it. We drove out and picked up Cory and then drove for a while to get to the White Castle. We stopped off at an Oasis (basically a highway services I guess?) and I munched some of Cory's big-american-style-soft-pretzel-thing and tried Christine and Brooke's caramel coffee starbucks thing, both yummy :)
So we got to White Castle and ate some of those delicious little burgers (they really are great!) and we ended up staying there for 2 hours just chatting about random crap and abusing the free refills policy that seems to be in all the fast food places in America... They didn't have Cherry Coke but I mixed Fanta Grape and Coke Classic which was pretty good. Also in White Castle Christine and Brooke were saying that they should have their own reality show and that MTV were missing out, I pointed out that they could just put the episodes online, and we decided the show should be called Totally Awesome... I doubt that it will ever happen but it's put me in a web designing mood :P
After White Castle we went to Brooke's house and hung out chatting some more, I met her sister and two of the cutest cats ever, one of them actually had bleu eyes, they're amazing! Unfortunately we had to then say bye to Brooke because she was going off to Disney World for the weekend, but all was made well again when we went to Steak 'n' Shake and I had my first taste of a Mint Choc Shake, mmm, so good. That night we got to bed pretty early and I finally got some sleep, yay.
Thursday
Yesterday we decided we'd head into Chicago with Cory and go to Navy Pier and look around Chicago and stuff, it's a really cool place and the atmosphere (particularly because it was a beautiful day) is really great there :) There are these free trolly bus things that run between 10 and 6 every day and we used them to get from the station to Navy Pier and back. At Navy pier we looked around, there were lots of cool little stalls selling wooden things and glass crystal type things and outside there was the water and boats/ships and stuff. We had lunch at Bubba Gump's which is a seafood place heavily themed around the Forrest Gump movie, it was really cool! I had an absolutely delicious Dixie Fishwich which was basically a burger but with chargrilled fish instead of beef, it was amazing if a little over priced (for America, for England it was dirt cheap -_- :P)
Oh also on Thursday I actually took my camera and finally got some photos of people and places which was cool, I'll hopefully get off my arse and put some online soon.
Definitely going back to Chicago again soon, at Navy Pier they have an IMAX theatre and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opens today (Friday) so we should go see that sometime. Also wanna see other parts of Chicago, it just seems like a really great place to be, but then I actually like living in London so what do I know? lol.
After getting back from Chicago we went to Christine's house to get some stuff and then to Cory's, she straightened his hair with her hair straightener thingy (yes he is just a lifesized doll for her to play with :P) and we listened to some music. On the way out it was kinda dark and I tripped down a couple of stairs I forgot were there and hurt my ankle pretty badly (it still hurts -_- give me sympathy~) but another Mint Choc Shake and Double Steak Burger made me feel a bit better :)
And that's about it so far... Bye everyone! Don't forget to leave your comments after you've waded through all this crap I just wrote! :)

Writings From Surrey
Hey Everyone :)
At Carmen and Gary's house today, Gary invited us up to stay the night before we get the plane tomrorow and John drove us up and is staying too so that he can see Carmen. Went to Funland at the Trocadero again, played some DDR, I think I'm getting better but I'm not sure, was fun anyway :)
Uh, not much else going on, gonna watch Shaun Of The Dead tonight I think, great movie. Crap all else to say... Guess my next post will be from America! Eeeek... Don't think it's sunk in yet :P
Oh yeah my mobile phone apparently won't work while I'm over in America so please email me if you need to get in touch. Bye everyone :)

Off To America Soon!
First off, sorry for not posting for a few days, Christine's taken over my room and computer and the connection on John's computer has died for no reason whatsoever so blah... Given me lots of time to get addicted to StepMania again (just did Butterfly Upswing Mix with 235 combo on Standard, really need to buy a mat though -_-), and also been working on Kaoru.Slackwise.Net 4.0, for which I've got a bunch of good ideas so expect to see something change about a week or two after I get back from America :)
Not really done much over the last couple of days, John's been driving us around in his new car and stuff, saw War Of The Worlds yesterday with John and Phil, and went to get some Pizza Hut today, not done anything amazing but it's been good fun anyway :) John's driving us to London on Monday so Gary, Christine and I can hang out for a day and John can see Carmen for a week or something, and then off to America on Tuesday at 12:40. T'will be good to see Gary and Carmen but it does mean I have to pack tomorrow... *sigh* I hate packing :P
Shout outs to Jason and Carmen 'cos they left comments today :) And also to anyone wondering about Carmen's comment about The OC DVDs, yes I do love The OC, I know it's mostly American teen drama crap but I really don't care, Seth just rocks :P

Jason and Gary
Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't written anything in a few days, with Jason and Gary staying I didn't really have much spare time to a computer or time to actually collect my thoughts :P So here's what we did... I think, my memory is a little fuzzy and I don't know days.
Gary turned up on Saturday night after we went bowling, then we hung out in the shed and Gary, Jason, and Christine had some Blue Saphire and strange Chinese wine or something. Sunday we went to North Sands beach while John went to look at a car he's hoping to buy, and we had such a good time chilling on the beach we decided to go again on Monday with John :) Unfortunately that time it rained a bit and the tide was coming in so we didn't get to stay there as long as we hoped, it was a good day though :)
On Tuesday Gary left in the morning and then a couple of hours later John, Christine and I drove Jason to the train station (Much easier to find the second time) and we said bye to him and stuff. Then Tuesday night we went to see my Auntie Pam, Uncle David, and my cousins Edward and Mark... It was good to see them, especially since Edward has now proposed to his girlfriend Kim, but it was kinda dull because it was mostly friends of their family that we didn't know and no people our age.
Now Christine's chatting on msn most of the time, John's just about to go buy his new car, and Dave and I are watching old episodes of Reboot :) Good times~
Keep leaving the comments, I'll write again soon.

Bowling
Today we went to go to the aquarium... That's not bad grammar, since we went to Plymouth in order to go to the aquarium, but we never actually got there :P John can't follow directions to save his life so we got bored and went to the MegaBowl by the cinema :) By the way "we" is John, Christine, Jason, and I... Jason got the train down yesterday and is staying for a few days, and Gary's coming tonight, gotta get him from Plymouth bus/coach station in a bit.
Anyhow, somewhere along the way I started to suck at bowling... Came last in the first game and second in the second, losing to Jason. I guess the suckage comes from the fact that I haven't played for a couple of years? Where does the time go... :P At least before bowling John and I played some House of The Dead 3 and I think got further than we have before, we should so take a bunch of money there sometime and actually complete the damn game... I love pump action shotguns :) Also played some Dance Stage Euromix, which it turns out sucks, because when playing 2 player you have to both play the same difficulty level so it was either Christine was bored or I was screwed. Been downloading lots of mixes for Stepmania though and will grab a mat from eBay or something :)
Anyway better go get Gary I guess... Wish us all luck -_-
